  • When playing a crossover game in a higher division, the higher division official’s fees apply to both teams.

  • Referee payment must be received before kickoff. A 15 minute grace period will be allowed. If payment is not received after the 15 minute grace period has expired, the game will be ruled a forfeit and the forfeiting team will be responsible for the forfeit fine.

Team Forfeits: DO NOT PAY THE REFEREE IF YOU HAVE A FORFEIT GAME. The referee should contact the disciplinary chairperson and will be paid by the SISL Treasurer. What is a forfeit?

  • A team that doesn’t show up for a league-scheduled game.

  • An 11v11 team having less than seven or a 7v7 team having less than four players on the field at game time.

  • A team that does not have a printed, color roster (including headshots).

  • A team that uses ineligible players in league games.

  • A team not paying referees at game time.

  • A team or team fans involved in violent altercation with referees, players, or other
spectators will be fined or suspended from SISL, with no refund of team or player fees.

Who to contact about referee assignments: Questions/comments may be directed to SISL's Referee Assignor – Mike Lyons by emailing assignor@sislsoccer.com.

Have a great season!
